1. Scope and operator

TraderGrade.com provides TraderGrade, including the website, applications, emails, private beta, and related services. This policy applies when you visit, join the waitlist, create an account, use TraderGrade, or contact us.

TraderGrade is designed for adults in the United States. It is not directed to anyone under 18, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

2. Information we collect

  • Account and profile information: email address, authentication identifiers, display name, handle, timezone, experience, instruments, preferences, and public-profile choices.
  • Trading-process information: trading plans and rules, prep and Report Card answers, grades, ratings, journal entries, reviews, habits, goals, imported trade or fill data, screenshots, notes, tags, coaching conversations, and other material you choose to create or upload.
  • Coach operations: the provider, model and prompt version used; request status, timing and available token or cost information; bounded error category; response feedback and optional comments; and focus suggestions you accept, edit, dismiss, or later review.
  • Research choices: whether you separately agree to an optional research use, the exact notice and scope you accepted, and when you granted or withdrew that choice. A general product-research preference is not permission to reuse raw Coach conversations.
  • Challenge administration: offer and enrollment version, first-completion date, stored timezone and deadline, valid completion links and count, Coach allowance and successful use, status, and completion, expiration, or paid-conversion records.
  • Waitlist and invitation information: email, referral source, optional qualification answers, and invitation, registration, onboarding, and activation status.
  • Billing information: when paid billing is available, subscription status, customer and transaction identifiers, invoice information, and paid-through dates. A payment processor handles payment-card details; TraderGrade does not receive your full card number.
  • Usage and device information: limited product events, pages or features used, approximate technical request information, browser or device type, human-verification signals used to prevent automated account creation, and diagnostic or security logs.
  • Communications: feedback, support requests, survey responses, and other messages you send us.

3. How we use information

  • Provide, secure, troubleshoot, personalize, and improve TraderGrade.
  • Authenticate accounts, preserve your professional record, calculate product results, and show your information back to you.
  • Deliver Coach features you request, preserve their operational history, and maintain continuity across sessions.
  • Measure Coach reliability and usefulness with bounded operational metadata and structured feedback that excludes raw notes, answers, messages, comments, and focus text.
  • Use raw private content for research, human evaluation, or model training only if a separate optional notice identifies that purpose and you affirmatively agree to it.
  • Operate waitlists, invitations, onboarding, Challenge eligibility and retry protection, product communications, billing, and customer support.
  • Measure whether key product flows work, prevent abuse, enforce our terms, and comply with legal obligations.

4. Cookies and local storage

TraderGrade uses essential cookies or similar browser storage to keep you signed in, protect requests, remember beta invitation or access status, and preserve choices such as theme and interface preference. Blocking essential storage can prevent sign-in or other requested features from working.

When product analytics is enabled, a limited analytics identifier is stored in local storage. TraderGrade does not use third-party advertising cookies or session replay.

5. Analytics and AI processing

TraderGrade uses limited aggregate traffic, performance, and product-event analytics to understand whether the service works as intended. Product analytics uses local storage rather than advertising cookies and honors your browser’s Do Not Track setting. Before sign-in, events may use a random browser identifier; after sign-in, they may use your internal account identifier.

We do not send analytics services your name, email, notes, Report Card answers, P&L, screenshots, coach messages, or trading rules. Automatic click capture, session replay, automatic error capture, and remote product flags are disabled.

Production Coach chat and note analysis currently route through Vercel AI Gateway to Anthropic Claude Sonnet 4.6. The product identifies that active route and model before you use it. Guided Method remains deterministic: its content is processed by TraderGrade and is not sent to an external AI model.

A Coach conversation can include your message and prior thread together with relevant saved process context, such as the current Report Card’s display-safe grade and section percentages, behaviors, notes and tags, same-day Journal or check-in context, readiness and self-read answers, saved method, prior focus, and bounded recurring-pattern or strategy-change context. Notes analysis sends the note and selected tags you ask Coach to analyze. If external Guided Method processing is separately enabled in the future, it can send your method answers, current method prose, and observations you deliberately linked to that workspace. We do not send scoring weights or raw scoring points.

Routed requests set an instruction that disallows prompt training. That instruction is not a promise of Zero Data Retention. Direct processing, routed processing, and model-provider retention are separate questions governed by the disclosed route and applicable terms. TraderGrade will not claim Zero Data Retention unless that protection has been configured and verified for the request.

Operational processing and storage of a Coach request are separate from product research or model training. TraderGrade does not currently maintain a raw Coach-conversation research or training corpus. We do not reuse raw notes, method prose, Report Card answers, Coach messages, private feedback comments, or focus text for research, human evaluation, or model training unless a separate, versioned notice explains the exact use and you affirmatively opt in. That choice is optional, can be withdrawn for future use, and does not affect core product access. The general Process Data Research preference does not provide that permission.

AI output can be incomplete, inaccurate, or unsuitable and should be reviewed by you. Coach output does not change a recorded grade and is not financial, investment, legal, or tax advice.

6. When information is shared

We share information only as needed to operate TraderGrade, complete a request, protect the service, comply with law, or as you direct. The service providers that support those purposes may process information for authentication, human verification and abuse prevention, database and file storage, hosting and performance, email delivery, optional third-party sign-in, limited product analytics, payment processing, and separately enabled AI routing or model processing. Cloudflare Turnstile processes limited request and device signals when you create an account or request an account-creating email link so TraderGrade can distinguish people from automated abuse. An external AI provider will not receive user content until the product identifies the active route and model.

We do not sell personal information, rent user lists, or share your trading content with advertisers. We may disclose information in response to valid legal process, to investigate abuse or security incidents, or as part of a business transaction subject to appropriate protections.

A Professional Record is not public by default. If public-profile controls become available and you deliberately enable them, the fields you select may be visible to anyone with the public link and, if you choose a public listing, to search engines.

7. Retention and deletion

We generally retain account information, operational Coach history, Coach feedback and focus records, and your trading record while your account is active so the service can preserve the history you asked it to keep. Challenge progress and the Report Cards, grades, rating, review, and Coach history you created remain in the account after Challenge completion or expiration until you request account deletion or another stated retention rule applies. Waitlist and invitation records are retained while the beta or launch process is active and then reviewed for deletion or de-identification.

TraderGrade has not enabled a separate raw-content research or training corpus. Before any such corpus exists, a specific notice must define its retention period, withdrawal handling, reviewer access, de-identification process, and deletion behavior.

You may request account deletion at any time. Deletion is currently a verified, supervised process rather than an instant self-service action: TraderGrade must remove user-owned files from active storage and then remove the account and its related primary-database records. Our target is to complete a verified request within 30 days. Some limited records may be retained when reasonably necessary for security, fraud prevention, billing, tax, accounting, dispute resolution, or legal compliance. Infrastructure, analytics, billing, email, routing, or model-processing systems may have separate retention or backup cycles; those boundaries must be considered when completing a request. We do not promise immediate erasure from backups or a provider’s systems.

8. Your choices and rights

You can update many profile and preference fields in TraderGrade. Depending on where you live, you may also have rights to request access, correction, deletion, or a portable copy; object to or restrict certain processing; or appeal a privacy decision. We will verify requests before acting on them.

You can disable optional analytics with browser privacy controls such as Do Not Track. You can also choose not to use optional AI features or public-profile controls. Declining or withdrawing a separate raw-content research choice does not block operational Coach use. Withdrawal stops future research use under that permission; the applicable consent notice must explain how already curated copies, de-identified aggregates, or other prior processing are handled.

To request a portable copy of your TraderGrade information or request account deletion, contact support@tradergrade.com. These requests are verified before fulfillment.

9. Security and processing location

We use administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards intended to protect personal information. No online service can promise absolute security, so you should protect your credentials and contact us if you believe your account has been compromised.

TraderGrade and its providers may process information in the United States and other locations where they operate. Those locations may have different data-protection laws than your home jurisdiction.

10. Changes and contact

We may update this policy as TraderGrade changes. We will post the updated date here and provide additional notice when a change materially affects how we use personal information.

For privacy questions or a verified rights request, email support@tradergrade.com. You can also use the Feedback control while signed in. Please do not send passwords, payment-card numbers, or sensitive trading credentials.
